The real Malta.

You’ll be surrounded  by friendly local Maltese who all speak English. There are a number of local stores for those essentials and every Tuesday there is a large outdoor market which spreads around the local streets, for fresh fish, fruit and vegetables and household goods.

European money has been poured into the area for the refurbishment of many public buildings and the historic centres of the small Cities area are being updated with small hotels and restaurants opening up.

A few minutes walk will take you to The Grand Harbour area host to various marinas and their multi million dollar yachts and its many outdoor restaurants for breezy lunches and balmy dinners by the sea.

There are many Churches in the area (Malta has a Church for every day of the year) and the area is peppered with local tourist sites including the Malta at War Museum and the world famous Inquisitors Palace.

For walkers there’s a Harbourside Walk and a ferry will  take you to the heart of the capital, Valletta in a few minutes.
